"I am deeply humbled and grateful to be selected as the SFPride Grand Marshal, representing the transgender community, the Black community, and the entertainment/nightlife community. This honor is a testament to the power of resilience, love, and acceptance. I am thankful for the opportunity to amplify the voices and stories of those who have been marginalized and silenced, and to celebrate the beauty and strength of our diverse communities. 

As a proud trans person of color, I know firsthand the struggles and triumphs that come with navigating multiple identities. I am grateful for the chance to shine a light on the intersectionality of our experiences and to highlight the vital contributions that trans people of color have made to the LGBTQ+ movement.
