Grand Stand Seating

    The grand stands are located at UN Plaza, which is on the north side of Market Street between Seventh and Eighth Streets in San Francisco.  The Civic Center Muni and Bart Station will bring you right to the grand stand entrance.  Bicycle parking is located on Hastings plaza on the northeast corner of Hyde and McAllister.
    Please do not drive: parking could easily become a several hour journey across the city and traffic will likely be unbearable.
    The gates open and general seating begins at 9:30 AM on Sunday, June 27, 2010. The Parade begins at 10:30 AM and kicks off at Market and Beale. 
    Please keep in mind that your space is subject to re-sale if you are not seated by 11:00 a.m.
    The west section of the Grandstands, toward toward 8th Street, is reserved for those desiring ASL interpretation, and the first two rows of all sections are reserved for those with accessibility needs.  There is a section reserved for wheelchair users, which includes the entire front section of the grand stand area located in the street.  Six ramps provide easy access for those using wheelchairs.
    There is absolutely NO SMOKING in any section of the grand stands.  We also ask you to be mindful of the fact that some people have environmental illnesses so please help us make the grand stands a scent-free area.
    There are no shaded areas in the grand stands.  Please wear appropriate clothing and bring along a hat and sunscreen.  Please do not block the view of those people behind you.  There will be a beverage and food area behind the grand stands.  ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE IN THE GRANDSTAND AREA.

Purchasing Grandstand Seating Tickets
    Information regarding how to purchase grand stand seating tickets will be made available in January 2010.  Please check back soon.  If you would like to be notified by email when tickets become available, email us to let us know.
    All Accessibility and Accessibility Partner tickets are available on a sliding scale.  Please note that a partner ticket must be accompanied by an accessibility ticket for entrance into accessibility seating area.  People who may need their accessibility ticket mailed to them may contact Femina Potens at 415.864.1558 or by email at grandstand [at] sfpride.org.
