Non-Profit Board Membership Experience:

I have been on the board of SF Pride since April of 2013.  I participated in the planning and execution of numerous SF Pride events leading up to and following the 2013 Parade and Festival such as, VIP Reception, Check Granting Party, Volunteer appreciation Party.

Other LGBT Movement or Organizational Experience:

I have worked on DADT repeal since 2005 as a volunteer for Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) - I lobbied Congress, planned and staffed fundraising events and performed outreach. Additionally, I was a plaintiff in the Prop 8 lawsuit, representing the 18,000 same sex couples married during 2008.

Professional/Work Experience:

I have led purchasing functions for public and private sector organizations for more than 20 years. I was a member of several professional associations, and served on the Strategic Planning Committee of CASBO. My passions in my professional life are systems thinking, reducing redundancy, and creating efficient systems and processes.  

Education or Training:

I have an AA in Liberal Arts, a BA in Public Administration, and an MBA with an emphasis on sustainable management. I also hold several contracting certifications.
