Community Invited to Provide Input about the Future San Francisco Pride Community Rap Session to take place Saturday, 3/17

San Francisco, CA 2 March 2007 The San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration Community has announced that it will be holding its Community Rap Session Saturday, March 17 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Women’s Building in the Mission District. The Community Rap Session is where the Pride Celebration Committee invites community members to provide input about the future of the San Francisco Pride Celebration & Parade and the role of the Pride Celebration Committee in the community. The meeting will be conducted in a town hall fashion, and all attendees will have the opportunity to provide both verbal and written feedback about diversity at Pride, the role of the Pride Celebration Committee in the community, and ideas for future Pride events.
Potential quote: "We are hoping to build a stronger Pride movement by placing the community’s voices at the forefront of the discussion about the future of San Francisco Pride. We would love to hear the community members’ thoughts about bringing San Francisco Pride to the next level."
