Pride 2004 On July 4th? What Do You Think?
Pride Committee Seeks Public Comment from Community

Who: The Pride Committee.

What: Public Testimony on a proposal received by the Pride Committee to move the date of SF LGBT Pride 2004 to July 4th. Organizations or individuals who contact the Pride Committee in advance may reserve up to 2 minutes of speaking time. Otherwise, time available for comment will be determined by the number of persons/organizations wishing to speak, with a maximum of 2 minutes per group and 1 minute per individual. Why: San Francisco Pride was recently approached by an ad-hoc group of people from the community who would like to move the Pride Celebration in 2004 to July 4th. As part of our commitment to consulting with all of our stakeholders and our communities, we’re setting aside an hour for public comment at the next General Meeting of the Pride Committee.

When: SF Pride’s next General Planning Meeting - Tuesday January 14, 2003. 7pm – 9pm (public testimony on Pride on the 4th should be at around 7.15pm – 8.15pm)
