SF Pride Wants YOU!

It’s not too early to consider volunteering at Pride!  We are currently seeking pre-event, safety, medical, parade, and celebration volunteers.  Volunteering is a great way to get involved, meet new people, have a lot of fun, and get a free t-shirt.  If you are interested in signing up, please visit “Be a Part of Pride” on our website at www.sfpride.org.  Also, our new volunteer coordinator Simon would be very excited to hear from you, please email volunteers@sfpride.org.

Learn more about the Ron Wilmot Bike Ride for Project Inform

Join Project Inform supporters at the Ron Wilmot Bike Ride Saturday, May 7, 2005. This fun and energizing 7-mile ride through Golden Gate Park has become one of Project Inform’s most important and much-loved fundraising events. The ride is dedicated to its founder, Ron Wilmot, an avid cyclist who personally relied on Project Inform’s HIV treatment information to better manage his health. We treasure Ron’s legacy of activism, and urge you to sign up as a Rider. Ride in honor of Ron’s legacy. Ride as a tribute to Project Inform’s 20th anniversary. Since 1985, our HIV treatment education and advocacy programs have offered inspiration and hope that have the power to transform people’s lives. Our vision for the future continues to focus on advocating for expanded access to HIV-related care and treatment, providing free and reliable treatment information, and moving the research agenda forward in the quest for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Your participation is a simple act that helps keep our programs going strong for thousands of men and women who rely on us every day. All participants will receive a T-shirt, plenty of snacks at the Ride, and the satisfaction of making an effective and direct impact in the fight against HIV/AIDS. When you register, we will send you a packet of information with ideas to help you get started on your fundraising, including sample text for letters and regular email updates. Register as a rider, or read more at: http://www.projectinform.org/develop/wilmot2005.html
