SF Pride is looking for vocal performers who can do covers of popular songs to perform and compete on the Main Stage on Saturday, June 28th.

The competition, in a format similar to “The Voice,” will give singers the opportunity to share their talents in front of thousands of attendees at the annual Celebration which takes place in Civic Center Plaza. The Grand Prize is $200, plus a chance to perform on the Main Stage on Sunday, June 29th.

Those interested can contact San Francisco Pride at mainstagesfpride@gmail.com.

I work for a non profit in San Francisco that coordinate s a dance team for young women in high school. I see that your competition focuses on vocal entertainment, however, I am wondering if there are any opportunities for independent dance performances this year?

  3. Mike Fleming says:

I do a number of cover songs live, either with a band or solo with guitar, mandolin or bass. The most current cover songs I have prepared are country from artists like Brad Paisley and Kenny Chesney. Let me know how to participate.

I would love the opportunity to perform! I know many pop songs that would get the crowd rocking off their feet!

I realized this is last minute so I don’t think I will do it! But maybe next year :)
