Sign Language Interpretation

SF Pride has long prioritized accessibility at our event. SF Pride made a commitment to make no cuts to our American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation budget even as we made cuts to other areas of Pride's budget. This is part of our deeply held belief that Pride is for everyone and ought to be accessible to all members of our community, Deaf, Late-Deafened, Hard-of-Hearing,

SF Pride maintains a large team of certified ASL interpreters who provide communication access to the popular Parade, to the Main Stage on both Saturday and Sunday, and to designated community stages or by request.

Interpreter services can be requested at the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Gathering Space for anyone who would like ASL interpretation at one of Pride's many community stages and venues.

Interpretation for the Deaf-Blind

If you require a tactile or one-on-one interpreter, please submit your request to by email prior to June 1, 2012.  Every effort will be made to accommodate your request.
