Membership Annual Renewal Period: September 20 - December 11, 2009
All memberships in the San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration Committee are renewable annually beginning at the Annual General Meeting on September 20, 2009, and ending on December 11, 2009, at the end of the day.
Though you may have just submitted your application, you will still be required to renew your membership starting on September 20, 2009.
If you were not present at the AGM, a renewal form has been mailed to you at the most current mailing address we have on file.  To update your membership records, please email us or download and print the renewal form here.
Completed and signed renewal forms must be received at the SF Pride Offices by December 11, 2009, to avoid the termination of your member voting privileges. Duplicate renewal forms can be obtained by emailing us or by downloading the form here.

Membership Program Information

The San Francisco Pride Celebration Committee is an ever-evolving member- and community-based organization. The direction of the Pride Celebration Committee is largely determined by the membership. The membership is a voting body that meets monthly with the Board of Directors to make decisions to further the mission of the Committee. By becoming a member of San Francisco Pride you will have a direct voice in shaping an event that educates and gives back to the LGBT Community.
At our monthly meetings, the general membership can provide direct input on the event to Board Members and the Production Team as well as stay informed year round through monthly e-Newsletters and periodic e-mail updates.
Other benefits of membership include participation in the nomination and selection of Grand Marshals, choosing the yearly theme of the Celebration and Parade as well as voting on the selection of the Board of Directors. These are just some of the ways in which you can be fully engaged with Pride and the greater LGBT Community.
In addition to what has been mentioned above, all members of Pride receive the following General Member Benefits:

  • A ‘Welcome to Pride’ membership e-packet with information on the Pride Celebration Committee
  • Voting rights after two months of membership (this includes voting for candidates for the Board of Directors, the event theme, and Community Grand Marshals)
  • Your name published in our annual Pride Guide and on our website

Building a Stronger Community through Member Donations

Donate to our Outreach and Education fund and make a difference for the LGBT community.  Make a secure online donation today.
The fight for full equality for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people is as important as ever.  Maintaining positive images of LGBT people and our authentic selves continues to be a powerful way to change hearts and minds.
Your financial contribution as a member will go directly into our Membership & Outreach fund which supports our year-round educational events and outreach initiatives for LGBT communities.  Your financial support could help build our community initiatives program.

New and cutting-edge projects like our fifty-state, non-partisan voter registration center is but one example of the powerful work that member donations have made possible.  Please consider giving $35, $50, $100, or whatever you can to continue the fight for LGBT equality today.
